WebBSA Lifeguard is a three-year training designation awarded to participants who meet prescribed requirements in aquatics skills, Safe Swim Defense, Safety Afloat, first aid, and emergency action. Participants are able to take an afternoon off to attend a river trip with their unit. Please contact the Camp Admin to schedule the river time. WebThe American Red Cross Lifeguard Manual was created to assist you in your Colorado Springs Lifeguard training while also answering all of your questions, from basic water safety to how to best respond in an emergency situation. The Red Cross Lifeguarding Manual is available in both a digital format as well as a traditional printed version.
