WebAs well as joining your local u3a you can subscribe to Interest Groups Online. Interest Groups Online is a platform for collaborative learning. It is an online community, bringing people together from all across the u3a movement and beyond, and does not include membership of your local u3a. WebIn the UK the u3a is a movement which provides opportunities for retired and semi-retired people to participate in learning activities both educational and recreational. It also provides companionship. There are over 1000 u3as in the UK with over 365,000 members and each, under the umbrella of the Third Age Trust, is independently operated.
