WebSep 4, 2024 · I've used and have an Ethos Overdrive or Ethos Overdrive Clean II in the exact manner you describe. The Clean II is awesome and I snagged one out of the emporium for $250 shipped about 6 months ago. I have the other two pedals you mention, but those both really seem designed as OD pedals to be used in front of an amp. Super clean, then gain. The Clean/Clean II are more like single channel amps. If you are already on IEM's then it will be an easy transition.
