WebYou can try Vulnhub initially and then move to HTB once you're comfortable with the basic methodology and the exploitation techniques. The reason I recommend to do Vulnhub first is the accessibility to easy machines and the availability of writeups when you need one. WebThe good thing about tryhackme is that they give a basis of everything, which helps a lot when you try doing actual pentesting. Not having that knowledge means that you're just following along and not fully understanding what/why you're doing it, so you lose the knowledge quicker (and have more trouble applying it to different situations)

HTB Academy is 100% educational. There are exercises and labs for each module but nothing really on the same scale as a ctf.
